A Nigerian was arrested for dealing drugs in Silverton, Pretoria, South Africa on Friday, April 29.
According to Silverton Police, the suspect, in his 30s, was caught selling drugs near a primary school after being
investigated for over a month, following a tip-off. Police, however, refused to
name the primary school.
"During routine crime prevention patrols K9 security members spotted
the man at a wifi area next to the school where children use the wifi
hotspot," said Silverton Police spokesperson Jan Sepatu.
Police officers, K9 members, Mathys Heyns and Frank Brink
who responded to the tip off, are pictured holding the confiscated
drugs. The suspect will soon appear at the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court
for drug dealing.
"We would like to thank the community, K9 members, Mathys Heyns and Frank Brink for responding to the-tip off," Sepatu said.
